Product of Popular Culture

Hello there ardent followers/accidental stumblers,

Have a little look at a piece of work that I did a couple of months ago that has been sitting in my loft, gathering dust!

I was inspired by the darn right wonderful work of Peter Blake after I saw 'Self Portrait With Badges' at the Tate Britain. Ive always loved his work, particularly his obsession with nostalgia and celebrity culture, a couple of things that I too find myself obsessing over.

So I set about producing something that would channel my admiration for him...it aint any great shakes but it made me happy for a while or two...

  2. Dear Toby, I really liked your illustrations and your doodles as well as your thoughts in Anne Wollenberg 40 tips on creative trends in Computer Arts magazine.
I'm currently working on my research on creativity at Monash university, Melbourne, Australia. I know that every one in our days is insanely busy and I'm sorry in advance for bothering you with this. But would you be so kind to help me out by giving brief answers to these questions for my 'Expert Voices' section?
    Here they are:
    1. What do you think creativity is?
    2. Do you think that digital media stifle or other way around enhances creativity? Why?
    3. Is teaching the adobe programs important during design education or not? Why?

Do you think I can ask you some more questions in the near future?

Thank you very-very much and best regards,
    Elena Petrov
